NEW VOTING SYSTEM PROPOSAL FOR AMERICA, AMERICA'S NEXT PRESIDENT & THE 1%

NOTE: I am just an average concerned citizen who is tired of the secrecy, lies and deception in our voting system. This is only meant to be an initial guideline or groundwork to work from and improve upon, not a final plan.
PROS: Eliminates voter fraud and renders it virtually impossible to steal an election by rigged black box computer systems, computer hacking, corrupt counters, hanging chads and votes attributed to dead people etc. so it guarantees we get in office the person(s) we voted for!!!!
CONS: Might not be possible with current social distancing mandates... might require 2 days vs one day: one for voting and one for results.
1. All voter meetings are recorded, streamed and archived via youTube or similar platform for all to verify and review for accuracy at any time. People vote as usual, but on paper or cardboard ballots. There is never more than 51-61 people at a given time at a designated meeting location (school gymnasiums, church auditoriums, etc.) . Actually, less than 51 per group would likely be the norm. Voting takes 5-10 minutes. Ballots are gathered. Then the votes are read off one by one with the voter id announced. Votes are tallied in real time and shown on a large screen for all to see. If 30 seconds per ballot then it would take 25 minutes to go through. If 1 minute per ballot, then 51 minutes max. Winners for that local voter group are shown/announced. [Actually, only one voting session needs to be done across the nation. Groups of 51 could even be determined by a time slot that each voter could opt for ahead of time so that voting could still be staggered across the day for voter convenience. The tallying of the next levels up could all be done completely online and the following day, if desired. No real need to drive across town to subsequent locations.]
Each voter is given an anonymous voter ID number. No one will know who voted for who other than the person who voted, but all voters will be able to witness the live announcement of each ballot within their group level in order to verify and maintain accountability and integrity of the system. Votes are counted by exponential groups of 51 within each county. The largest county in the USA is Los Angeles County with 9.8 million people. The rest of the top five are Cook County (Chicago) with 5.2 million, Harris (Houston) with 4.1 million, Maricopa (Phoenix) at 3.8 million and San Diego County at 3.1 million. Orange County, California is the only other one with 3 million. If each group of 51 people met at school gymnasiums and church auditoriums, then you would have the following progression:
1st level = up to 51 people meet at a local desginated location (schools, churches, etc.) 9 a.m. ... ideally, all would meet at the same time, ballots are passed out and voting is done within 5-10 minutes and results are announced ballot by ballot to everyone and recorded and tallied on a large overhead screen that everyone can see (also streamed and archived on youtube for future verification)
2nd level = 51 people representing up to 2601 people (51 x 51) meeting at another designated school or church at 11 a.m. with same procedure as 1st level... each representative reports the winner from their 1st level group
3rd level = 51 people representing up to 132,651 people (51 x 51 x 51) .... at this point could be televised locally on the news or streamed live via the internet at 1 p.m. with same procedure as 2nd level... each representative reports the winner from their 2nd level group
4th level = 51 people representing up to 6,765,201 people (51 x 51 x 51 x 51) at 3 p.m... with same procedure as 3rd level... each representative reports the winner from their 3rd level group
5th level = each county is given a percentage of the state's total number of electoral votes and this could tallied and shown live on television at 5 p.m.
Each county would need to determine its ideal meeting arrangements in terms of numbers of groups meeting and how many per group.
For example, if a county has less than 2601 people, then only groups equaling the square root of the number of people would be necessary. If a county had 900 people then 30 groups of 30 could meet in the 1st level and then those 30 winners meet for the second group of 30. If a group has more than 2601 but less than 132,652 people then the cubed root of people could meet in that same number of groups. So if a county had 27,000 people then 30 groups of 30 groups of 30 could meet. If over 132,651 people ten the 4th root of the total population could meet in that same number of groups. If there is a tie at any level, then it is considered a draw for that county and a rep for that group needn't go to the next level meeting.
Counties with abnormally small numbers of population would need special circumstances. For example, there is a county that only has 88 people. In that case, instead of 10 groups of 9 people or 9 groups of 10 people, they could meet in two groups of 44 people since they would not have 10 schools and churches, but rather one school and one church. Or, alternatively, they could do 8 times slots of 11 people at one location. Or any other workable combination that is optimal for their needs.
Actually, only one voting session needs to be done across the nation. Groups of 51 or less could even be determined by a time slot that each voter could opt for ahead of time. The talling of the next levels up could be done completely online and the following day, if desired. No real need to drive across town to subsequent locations.
6th level = number of electoral votes counted as usual to determine winner(s) at 7 p.m.
To handle Los Angeles county, it could be broken up into three smaller groups of 3.3 million people each, or they could meet in groups of 61 instead of 51 which would account for up to 13,845,841 people at the fourth level.
For Travis county (Austin, Texas):
There are 344 Public Schools in Travis County, Texas, serving a population of 1,176,584 people in an area of 992 square miles. There is 1 Public School per 3,420 people, and 1 Public School per 2 square miles.
In Texas, Travis County is ranked 249th of 254 counties in Public Schools per capita, and 7th of 254 counties in Public Schools per square mile. The most populous area in the United States is also one of the cities with the most churches. New York City houses 6,160 holy places within the city limits or one church for every 1,353 inhabitants. So together between schools and churches there would be roughly two per 2500 people. That averages out to either a church or a school available for maybe every 1000 people or so. Only about 75 percent of people are registered to vote so make that 750 people per venue. If you did groups of 101 at a time, then you would need 8 time slots to process all the possible voters. If you did hourly time slots from 5 a.m. - 7 p.m., you could have up to 15 slots available in a day which could process the 750 people. So the system might need to be done over a two day period. First day is level one voting. The second day is tabulation and confirmation consisting of group levels 2 through 5 meeting. 2nd level groups could meet at 8 am. the second day. 3rd level groups could meet at 11 a.m. 4th level groups could meet a 3 p.m. 5th level could be televised at 6 p.m. and the 6th level at 8 p.m.
Each county has a multiplier factor assigned to it based on percentage of state population. The state winner again could be shown via television statewide.
And then in the evening a nationwide program could be shown to tally the 50 states.
This system would allow everyone to validate that their vote was truly counted instead of relying on black box technology or volunteer counters!
A website could be made available too with a lookup of the vote based on an entered voter id number to validate that their vote is there and correct.
All proceedings would be recorded and available to watch on youTube or some other similar forum for verification purposes. This would eliminate past loopholes and abuses such as attributing votes to dead persons.
Furthermore, since we have all have become without our consent victims of ongoing surveillance from cameras going up all over the place, all meetings official or unofficial of all government officials should be recorded at all times for the public to see and hear. They are, after all, elected public servants and there to serve us not the other way around. We pay for their salaries with our taxes etc. Any major issues affecting millions of dollars or loss of jobs or freedoms should be voted on. Politics needs to be more issue driven instead of electing a candidate with false promises and then gets to decide serious issues without public vote or consent!
The election process should be more like the selection of the next American Idol. Many weeks of auditions and millions of candidates to choose from, not a handful which are trotted out to us, all who have untold wealth and do not represent the common man. Or we could do a similar system for those who wish to run for office. They could meet in groups of 13 instead of 51. Each candidate in the group of thirteen would have up to 10 minutes to plead their case. Or, better yet, an entire 8 hour day could be set aside, 30 minutes for each candidate to speak and field questions. That would take 6.5 hours plus an extra 1.5 hours for breaks and voting. A candidate may not vote for themself and must vote for someone other than themself. Voter IDs will be checked to ensure this. If a candidate is caught voting for themself, then they are automatically disqualified. In case of a tie, a revote(s) are conducted between the candidates who tied until there is a winner. The winner would advance to the next round of 13 which could take place the following week. Once we got to the final 13 candidates we could have a series of serious debates in front of a national television audience like we currently do.
America's Next President
The two party system is not working. We get to choose between two representatives of the elite who are millionaries and do not represent or care about the common man. Therefore, I propose Simon Cowell produce a show similar to American Idol where America votes on the best singer in America or America's Got Talent where America votes on the most talented act in America. A show called America's Next President could feature people who gives their ideas on what they would do if elected as president of the United States, The winner could be the candidate of a new political party or just even be a write in vote. It would truly be America's opinion selected from over 300 million potential people, although only a small percentage would actually be interested in competing.
In the current system, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. To those that have abundance, more will be given, and to those that have little, what little they have shall be taken away. The poor should not become more impoverished. This is hell, and it's something that all humans should take offense to. We need an economic system that raises the quality of life for everyone, not just the elite few. There are ideas that could be used to help move us towards that. UBI prevents extremes of poverty. Profit sharing places corporate profits in the hands of employees as well as the CEO's. A cap on pay in corporations say the highest paid employee can't make more than 50x the lowest paid employee. Laws that punish outsourcing, or require manufacturing to done in the businesses country of origin would also help. Tariffs on imports. These are all things that can raise employee pay, share profits, and prevent extreme poverty. Communism doesn't work. Trying to make it work has killed over 100 million people in brutal oppression and extreme poverty. But the thing is capitalism always morphs into crony capitalism because at some point someone will start a big business and what do big business owners do with their accumulated economic advantage? They influence politics to gain more advantage. This turns your country into a plutocracy, just like we see now in the USA. Neither system is ideal. Capitalism works badly and communism doesn't work at all.
There should be a limit to how much wealth a candidate can have and they should not be able to accept huge donations from special interest groups. There should not only be a minimum wage, but also a maximum wage. There is no reason any one individual should make more than a million dollars a year when there are so many poor people jobless and going hungry, For a one percent to hoard so much of the world's wealth indicates the system is completely broken and needs a major overhaul. There should be given a basic living income per month for all people to live on. If someone wants more than that, then they can also hold a job and make more money.
Restrictions should be made so that political candidates and presidents can not accept donations from special interest groups as that is basically buying a candidate.
The 1%
I've done the math on this. The top richest 1% of Americans own 38.6% of America's wealth. The top 5% own 65.1%. The richest 10% of households now represent 70% of all U.S. wealth! The top 1% owns 30% of America. The top 1% as of Q4 2019 owned $36.8 trillion. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has called for 70% taxes on all income over the $10 million mark. 30 percent of that would be $85,000 per American household! The top 1% of wealth in America average owning $10.5 million. There were 331 million people in America in 2020. If you taxed the top 1% one time a 10% tax, then that would be 3.3 million people giving 1 million each = 3.3 trillion dollars total. 3.3 trillion for 330 million people = $10,000 each for the bottom 99%. There are only 130 million households so that would be $25,000 per American household!
Furthermore, to take it further, if no one could be worth more than 1 million, then 3.3 million x 9.5 million = 28.5 trillion available for 330 million people = $100,000 per person. $100,000 is a lot of money. It could outright pay for a mortgage on a modest home for everyone, without paying interest to the bankers which collect more money than the actual principal itself.
There are only 130 million households so that would be $219,000 per household!! And the millionaires could still be millionaires. A million dollars is a ridiculous amount of money and one could still live a very lush life with that.
Let's be realistic. The top 1% probably don't pay taxes as they have tax shelters and loopholes. There are 130 million households so if you taxed the top 1% a one time tax of 30% (which the rest of us have to pay) that would be $85,000 per household. That could probably pay for a very modest condo in a poor part of the country.
A one time 10% tax on the top 1% wealth owners, i.e. the ones who can afford it (who on average own $10.5 million each and would still be worth $9.5 million), could give $75,000 to each of the roughly 15 miilion black Amercian households which could outright pay for a home without involving interest money to the bankers)!! Or you could give it to the poorest 13% of the population, regardless of race. Those are just crude numbers, but you get the idea.
Or, alternatively, we've had a $2 trillion stimulus package before. A $2 trillion stimulus package for 15 million black American households (or, more fairly, the fifteen million poorest Americans) would equal $133,000 per household! They are passing a $3 trillion stimulus pakage right now. There are about 15 million black households in America. If a $3 trillion stimulus package were granted to black households that would equate to $214,285 per household!!
So that doesn't even include the stupid banking system we have. The banking system is a huge issue in all this. The Federal Reserve, which is not federal and only has to have a piddling 5 percent of reserves, in a travesty. There is a reason it is called The Fed. They are indeed well fed from our constant borrowing. We should all be fed up with The Fed by now. We have the power to create our money without owing a debt or interest to a central bank. Over time, the money slowly all goes into the hands of the bankers. Only the rich 1% who keep the vast majority of the wealth for themselves are not affected by it. Profit sharing places corporate profits in the hands of employees as well as the CEO's. A cap on pay in corporations say the highest paid employee can't make more than 50x the lowest paid employee. UBI prevents extremes of poverty and could enable a sort of hybrid capitalistic-democratic system that also includes compassion for those who are not able to work or are too lazy.

The people hold the true power. They are, after all, elected public servants and there to serve us not the other way around. We pay for their salaries with our taxes etc. We need to and can take back our country. Stand up and represent. Let's turn this thing around. Power to the people!
